Love is in the Air!

  

 Valentines Day is just around the corner and next to Christmas, it is my favorite holiday!  One of my girlfriends in Georgia is having a tea party I wish I could attend but my travels have me in South Carolina.  I wanted to send a little love to all the ladies there so I created these sweet little tags and attached them to sheer little bags and inside each of them is this........

A pretty rhinestone heart necklace!

 I have been doing lots of creating in the studio as I have a "Meet the Artist" trunk show coming up in March in Naples.  I took a break to create a little something special for my friend Sherry for her birthday.  

This was a forgotten little gold compact that I decided to create a mini assemblage inside of.  I know Sherry adores frozen charlottes so I came up with this......

I used some vintage wallpaper scraps and rhinestone trims and I loved the way it came out.  It is like a special little hand held treasure!  Happy Birthday Sherry!

Holly Jolly Magical Bear!

                                    My Favorite Christmas Treasure!

  This is "Holly Jolly Magical Bear " created for me by my FABULOUS friend Jennifer Hayslip.  I am such a fan of Jennifer's art and I knew when she began this sweet creation and that it was going to have a Christmas theme, she had to be mine! 

 She has taken her place at my Cozy Cottage in central Florida and I adore her so much.  Whenever I look at her, I smile and think about the hours Jenn spent making her  extra special for me.   I just can't "bear" to put her away and decided I need to see her always so Holly Jolly Bear will be on display all year!

New Pieces on the way to Vintage Charm!

Here is a little peek at a few of my recent creations which will be featured at  Vintage Charm in Naples, Florida.  I call this one "Some-Bunny's Sleeping"  I adore the colors and am thinking of Spring now!

This is a vintage jewelry box  I embellished.  I love the effect of the vintage wallpaper.  I seem to sell these as fast as I can make them!

Tampa Weekend!

I am off to Tampa to visit my amazing friend and artist Molly! Awaiting me were many sweet surprises.  I loved the bucket because it was one of the projects from my Beauty in Blue event last year.  Molly uses it for towels and treats for her overnight guests.  I was thrilled with every little gift and if I had to pick a favorite....

It would have to be this GORGEOUS cuff Molly made for me!  My favorite colors!  So very feminine and sweet. I adore the pearl "K" and will wear this time and time again!  You can visit Molly's blog and see more of her amazing work at lillycakes.blogspot.com

Our first stop was this AMAZING vintage clothing store.  It is called La France and it is a total treasure trove!  I believe it is one of the largest collections of clothing I have ever seen in a store.  We also had a wonderful greek dinner and came home and chatted into the wee hours of the morning.  Tomorrow we will go to tea and then come home and create while we wear tiara's and watch Miss America!
